Jefferies Bay - Grahamstown

After the calm of the forest area it was to the beach and surfing. Jefferies Bay is known for surfing around the world and holds the world championships each year. It was clear here that spring was still in the air as it was cool and windy, but not in the right direction. Wind came off the land so it was killing the waves. I did get to go out and try surfing one day and that was lots as it is very difficult to get up but lots of fun in trying. After surfing I was heading down the coast. I dropped Jenny, Ian and Charles for the last time and continued on. I got a bit lost on the way so I ended up staying a night in an old jail in Grahamstown.
