Uruguay -Colonia and horse farm

Before heading south to the cold we thought we would spend a few days in Uruguay for some rest and relaxation. Colonial is the small old port city that the ferry lands in from Buenos Aires. Small and quaint we rented bikes and enjoyed the peaceful calmness. The next day we went to El Galope horse farm about an hour away. The stay was awesome with great food and accomodations and friendly host and guests. Unfortunately the weather turned and we were unable to go horseback riding. From here we headed to Montevideo a quiet capital with old wold charm. We spent a few days here with not such great weather and I don't know if we really got the best out of Uruguay as a whole.
