The Amazon jungle

Leaving Lima we headed to Porto Maldonado and into the Amazon jungle. We met our guides Christian and Iban for this part of the trip. We flew to get there then took a van and boat ride to get to our jungle camp. We were fortunate to see monkeys, giant river otters, macaws, spiders, snakes , capybara and a rare harpy eagle.
