More Fun In Rotorua
After the Maori Culture Center we were ready for some fun!
We went for a Gondola ride, with a stunning view of the city and lake. Then at the top you luge to the bottom. When we got to the bottom we had to do it again. This time down it was a race to the bottom. Dianne out in the lead at first then Albert passes her, then right near the bottom Dianne passes Albert.... as you could hear the people up above in the Gondolas cheering us on. Next stop...Zorbing...what is that you say? It is a big clear rubber ball that you jump inside and they then let you go down a hill bouncing to the bottom.
From there we went to Waitomo Caves. We did some abseiling (repelling) into the caves where we then took a innertube and floated through the caves in the dark watching all the glow worms above. There were thousands of them and it reminded us of looking at the stars at night time. We then rock climbed back out of the caves. There are no pix because it was to dark and a bad water camera.
