Drakensberg

With the way the weather was following me I decided to leave the coast after a couple of more days to go to the World Heritage Site called the Drakensberg. This is an incredible mountain (plateau) range that is in the top center of South Africa. I headed to the North Drakensberg and spent a few excellent days at a great hostel. I met many interesting people and spent time doing many hikes. Of course the first day was rainy but the rest turned out to be some of the best days I spent in South Africa. The red line on the one photo is a controlled burn which they do very often to prevent uncontrollable fires that may be lit by lightening.
