Day 1 of 3 in the Bolivian highlands

After the interesting day we had gettin to Uyuni we started out trip though the Bolivian highlands. A very desert like landscape with stunning views at every turn. Day 1 highlights were Laguna Colorada a red coloured lake with flamingoes, beautiful rock formations along a fault line and many animals including llamas and Vicuña. We also got to visit a train graveyard where engines and cars were left to rot often the mining started to slow down.
