These are are new friends from England. Hi to you all, and you are a blast, we will be visiting in Dec. Had loads of fun with you.

We took a thai cooking class today, so when we get home thai food for everyone. It was amazing food and so much that we even had to take some back to the guest house for dinner.
I think a thai massage for tonight, hopefully get rid of some of the aches and pains from the trekking.

We are heading to Loas tomorrow. Taking a bus to the border, staying the night then taking a boat downt the river into Loas. So see you in Loas in a few days. After Los then Vietnam and Cambodia. Loving Thailand..... maybe not Bangkok so much too big and busy for us.
Bye for now

This was our rafting trip down the river. We had some very young and crazy guides that would overturn our raft and throw us off and splash us then took us to some cliffs to jump off and no other group did that. I think it was because we were all so young!!!lol

Had so much fun riding the elephants although ours started in the lead we finished near the end of the pack. Was just real hungry and always stopped to eat. Albert got to ride on the elephants neck then I tried near the end of our hour trek.

3 DAYS TREKKING

We are in north east Thailand, Chaing Mai. We did a 3 day trekking and had a blast. Our group was us and 10 british students the average age of them was about 22. They were young and fun, this is a pix of us at a waterfall all swimming and a much needed wash from a 3 hour hike straight uphill then straight downhill, it had rained so it was very slippery. This is where we camped right beside the waterfalls is some huts that we slept in. A campfire at night where we sang and danced and drank lots, well at least the young ones drank lots, albert and I knew better as we had a 2 hour hike the next day. Was so beautiful everywhere, tiny villages that tribes live in they have no electricity and everyone had a cow, few chickens, pigs and dogs. Last day we went and rode the elephants and also went rafting down a river lots and lots of fun.
