Pucon - climbing the volcano

So climbing an active volcano seems like a fun idea. It was a long hard day but we are happy we did it and the view and seeing the lava is all worth the effort.

Pucon - Chile

Puccini is our first stop in Chile. We took another bus and crossed the border in Chile. Although we are going to travel back into Argentina to go to Mendoza it is nice to finally get to see a bit of Chile. Pucon is know for the volcano Villarrica that looms over the city. This creates an area of natural hot springs which we visited.

Bariloche

After all of the hiking in El Chaten we took a 24 hour bus ride to Bariloche. This was a great place to spend Easter as I think the city is made of chocolate. A walkable city with so many places that sell delicious chocolate. We also got to see them make the worlds biggest chocolate bar.
Outside of the main city area was a series of lakes. We walked up a hill to view them , rode bikes around them and kayaked on them.
Interesting was the fact that US president Obama and his family were visiting Bariloche at the same time we were.
