Sledging

After Milford Sound we had to come back to Queenstown, because it is so much fun. We decided to try sledging. Sledging is you and a wave board going down the river through rapids and whirlpools. It was awesome!! We did about 5 km. down the river and after we were finished we got to do it again. So much fun.

Milford Sound

Some say Milford Sound is the eigth wonder of the world. We have to agree. They have some of the highest mountains in the world that are the closest to the ocean. It was quiet beautiful and pictures really don't show how high they are. We stopped at a few places on our way to Milford Sound. One a lookout for lunch and after 5 months, 24/7, we still like each other. We also stopped at a chasm along with many bus tours. Then we took a cruise of Milford Sound where we saw some beautiful mountains, some penguins, seals (sunning themselves), and dolphins that swam with our boat.
