Ushuaia - last post from here I promise

Woke up to not only snow on the mountains today but a storm outside. As I finish this post it has cleared up which is good as we fly out today for El Cafate and a glacier tomorrow.  The pictures are the view from our hostel window about an hour apart. Looks like the snow has stopped.

When we left for our trip we thought we were leaving snow behind but we knew coming this far south in what is fall here there would be colder weather. Well today we woke up to snow on the mountains, rain and a high of 7 degrees. We decided to stay in for a while and wait for better weather. The afternoon turned out to be sunny so we decided to go for a modest 8 km hike in Tierra del Fuego. It was a coastal walk through a forested area. Beautiful until the clouds came up and it started to rain about half way through. We are troopers though and finished with our raincoats on.
